A single story modern compound in Indio with a free-form resort pool, private pickleball court and integrated rooftop solar.

Everything here stays low. The roofs run long and flat in a dark standing seam that reads almost black against the sky, and the whole compound sits a single storey tall so the mountains behind it keep the horizon.
Arrival is the set piece. A paver motor court runs the length of the garage wing between uplit columns, and at dusk the wood soffits pick up the light and the elevation turns warm against a cold sky. That contrast is the reason the night renders carry this project.
Out back the plan trades the usual rectangle for a free-form resort pool with tanning shelves and planted palm islands, so the water reads as landscape rather than a lap lane. A private pickleball court sits off to one side with shaded bench seating, far enough out that play stays out of the living spaces. Solar runs across the main wing, worked into the roof plane rather than added on top of it.

The entry sequence at dusk, the pool, the sport court and the aerials.
