Mami Paletas interior design concept in Palm Desert, CA

The project

Mami Paletas was opening a new shop in Palm Desert and needed a space that would get noticed from day one. The owners came to Black Diamond for an interior concept that would feel fresh, photograph well, and give customers a reason to stop in and come back.

The design pairs a curved white oak service counter with a tiled niche that frames the paletas like a gallery display. A sculpted blue partition wraps the cafe seating, and the open truss ceiling keeps the room bright and airy. Photoreal renders let the owners lock in layout, finishes and lighting before build-out and see the finished shop ahead of launch.
