Modern outdoor resort in Joshua Tree, CA
An unused lot turned into a full outdoor resort with pool, sport courts, putting green and a covered cabana.
The project
The site came in as raw, unused land. The brief was to make it somewhere nobody wants to leave.
The plan splits the lot into zones so each one works on its own and the whole thing still reads as a single property. A pool with integrated water features anchors the center. A pickleball court and a volleyball court sit along one edge, a putting green wraps the other, and a covered cabana with a fireplace and seating holds the middle ground between them.
